Just wondering, has anybody set up an OMP Hobby M4 on the Spirit Wave W1?

Spirit Wave W1 on OMP Hobby M4?
Setup is identical to Spirit GT or GTR, many people are flying these models actually for some time. I think there is nothing special except some people found stock tail mechanics require tweaks to make it running smoothly.

Thank you for your reply!
Yesterday was the maiden of the OMP M4 on a particularly gusty day here in Australia!
The tail was needing some constant rudder input to hold and had a small, intermediate frequency shake. I did not want to push it in this adverse weather. things are turning cold and wintery here in Australia! Do you advocate setting some counter-torque at neutral?
The M4 is my first small helicopter since the Beam 450, with an old VBar, some 15+ years ago. I always felt that these machines were too small with fragile components for my big, ugly hands! My smallest helicopter recently, for a long while, has been the Logo 500se, which I re-maidened yesterday too, after a complete rebuild, with good results.
I was hoping that someone might have been able to share their settings for the M4 with me, please. You mentioned that the tail can be troublesome?
Regards,
Andy

I have just flown the M4 again just now around the back of the house and it is very well tuned in the hover, but the telemetry rpm suggests just short of 1000 rpm where it is clearly more like 1600 - 2000. This was with the recommended settings for the esc telemetry. I have not had a chance to test rpm with the metre, but will do so over the next few days - dark now, so no further meaningful flying!

The M4 is flying quite nicely with the W1 unit, but the rpm telemetry from the OMP 65A ESC is at odds with your manual detail.
Set according to the manual, I originally showed about 985 rpm, where the actual rpm was close to 2270 rpm.
I have altered the gearing, but am not sure I am altering the correct parameters?
I have reduced the gear ratio to about 3.3, but not quite sure of the logic here - however gives me close to measured tacho-rpm.
Some clarification of gearing ratio and sensing would be useful, please.

Given that the M4 is a direct drive motor, the head-speed should be a factor of 1 or 10 if associated with the poles, neither of which give me a realistic value, currently 4.3 on the gearing ratio works quite closely? Not sure how the 'sensitivity factor' works?
This is why I have asked if anyone has questioned this before - I am sure they have!

Thank you Tomas, I will try that today!

Unfortunately, I have tried to implement the sensor/divider to 21 (42/2), but the parameter scale only allows a maximum of 14 !
How do we get around this issue? Also, not sure if the only OMP esc option available is the correct one.

The computer software allows the 21 sensor / divider entry. I am not sure how much more is permitted, but seems to be working with my rpm telemetry with the M4 65A.
I think that the radio-based software may need updating a little!
I am yet to test the electrical consumption figures.
