RX7 to uSpirit

I bought another RX7 to use my Wave Transmitter with a small heli that has a uSpirit on it. I was using a Futaba transmitter and used Sbus to the gyro. Worked fine. When I tried to use the Wave Radio to the RX7 to the uSpirit, it did not recognize the uSpirit in the Wave tx. All units are updated to the latest firmware. I did use the computer to put the uSpirit to use RX7 as the input. The RX7 was set to correct settings for single line output. The Wave Tx states I need to attach a Spirit Unit. I've done 2 other setups of RX7 to Spirit GT's that work fine with the Wave tx. Any possible way to correct this situation?

Hello,

the problem could be only wiring.
I think the issue is that uSpirit require same connection as Spirit 2.
This is AIL signal pin + powering wires.

What is your current wiring?

RX7 port 2 is wired to uSpirit port RUD as I've done with the Spirit GT units. This works fine with a Futaba Sbus, but not with RX7.

Update: I've used two jst connectors to 1) power the unit in the RUD port, 2) Single wire to Aileron pin on P/E/A port. Works now with Wave Radio. However, that information is not clear on the Instrustions that are online, as far I could see.
