OMP M4 ESC Telemetry and Spirit W1?

I have set the ESC Telemetry to 'OMP M4' with the displayed wire connections and my Spirit W1 unit.
Having set the Poles / 2 to 21, I get reasonable ballpark head-speed rpm at about 1850 to 1950, which checks out with a tachometer.
However, the capacity consumed and current displayed are completely out for some reason!
On two flights I got the following:

(1) Displayed capacity used 63744 mAh, where replaced charge was 476 mAh
(2) Displayed capacity used 42248 mAh, where replaced charge was 462 mAh. In the second flight I recorded current peak at 292.6A (for a 65A esc)!

In the first flight way over 300A was initially displayed?
What am I doing wrong, please?
The head speed is not the highest, but still within quoted specifications!
I will check settings again on the computer, this evening, shortly.

In the Spirit manual, under ESC Telemetry instructions, the manual states that with OMP M4 65A ESC, the manual states that the Rx pin needs to be used, but the OMP M4 ESC image shows the orange pin in the Tx pin! ?
