Hey Guys,

First I have four different Heli's flying on the Spirit

I had just finished setting up another Sab 700 Nitro and was in the front yard just hovering to test out the OS Motor.

I went up about 20 feet and i flipped on my Self Level for a test.. When I did this the Heli did a hard back elevator and dam near hit me.

After I got it on the ground and shut off, I turned on the self level again and it did the same thing with a hard back elevator.

I have never had one of these units fail like this and just looking for answers as to why this happened

I powered down the Heli and powered it back up. Which I did a number of times and the problem just went away.

Spirit GT with Geolink ( Brand New)
Spektrum Receiver
Panic is set up on a switch
Self level is on a switch
Return to Home is on a switch (programmed by switch before I take off)
Hard Deck is also on a switch

Hello,

first please make sure that it does not happen on its own before lift off - after GeoLink satellite acquisition.
If so it mean some GeoLink function is active at the same time together with Self Level.

Please attach your settings, we can check it and let you know what is wrong.
Other than this, there is page that is describing exactly this behavior and all possible reasons for this. If not GeoLink function, the cause and possible solution is at the following page:

I went into the Advanced section and there's no Stabi/Rescue Algorithm , where you can change to High Immunity

This mean your PC software and/or Spirit firmware is old. You will have to update it.

Oh, so the firmware is 3.7.0 and the latest software (the utility that you use on the PC/laptop) version is 3.7.4
Where do you see the Firmware version?

Firmware version is right at the first page - Connection tab.

Updating takes just few seconds when you go at the Update tab and click the Flash button.

Ok, I see now, as you say, spirit software top left of Connection tab.
And spirit firmware on the update tab at the bottom of the page.
I did have both matching.

Going to update to version 4.
Thanks.
