Hello,

Please explain the Recording Behavior settings: Last Flight or Each Flight.

In addition, which Logging Rate is recommended?

Many thanks,
David

There isn’t an explanation for the Recording Behavior in the manual.

The rate is basically the sample rate, on how often does the values get recorded. I kept it at 10hz that means that the controller will record the checked items 10 times per second. you can of course set it higher if you want higher detailed logs but with the expense of storage memory in the unit.

The setting Each Flight will save logs on each flight and you can pull any of the flight logs on the right top drop down ""please select log"" each flight log will get numbered.

Ok, thanks.

What about “Last Flight”?

Last Flight mean that only the last flight is stored in the memory. Next flight will rewrite it.

What counts as a "flight" and when does it start logging/erase the previous log? You need to power it up to retrieve the log after all. The one time I have needed it there was no usable log when I connected it to pc so I've set it to all flights now, but that has the problem with requiring manual erase every so often. It would be more useful if there was a last x flights option so we can keep more than 1 log and not risk running out of storage.

Thanks for the explanations.

It would be great if the Recording Behavior erases some logs to accept newest ones.

Last flight option will erase previous log only if flying again, once motor will start spinning and there are vibrations at a flight level. So normally you can't accidently erase it and viewing it at any moment later after a flight is possible.
