Hello,

I have some questions regarding the new Spirit 3 FBL. If I connect an ExpressLRS receiver, I presume the RPM output of the Hobbywing V5 ESC needs to be connected to the middle pin of the ELE/PIT/AIL input on the FBL, as described for the S-Bus receiver ?

According the Spirit documentation for Express LRS receiver, all Hobbywing ESC telemetry data should be available and transmitted from the FBL to the transmitter — visible in the telemetry window of e.g. EdgeTX (Radiomster TX16). Do I get the GPS telemetry data of the Spirit system, or any telemetry indication, the Spirit system is receiving a valid/ healthy GPS signal during flight, as well in EdgeTX. Having GPS data available in EdgeTX would be very helpful in case the helicopter gets lost in a cornfield.......

Hello,

yes, GeoLink data are passed through CRSF protocol so you can see the position, altitude, satellites and more.
