What functionality with Geolink?

Hi, What functionality does Aero support with Geolink? The software has channel mapping options for Return to Home, Auto Land, Position Hold, but no configuration option or documentation relating to them, are they just carried over from the heli config and not relevant, does it use Geolink for anything?
