Hi,
I'm trying to setup my first ever GT and it's just not working for me.
I have a Jeti RC system and Ihave been following the manual online. I am using the setup wizard and the servos are wired as they say. (I'm an experienced help pilot). I'm in the Diagnostic Panel (Step 5/10) and the rudder and pitch are incorrect. However, when you go into the Layout tab. You cannot select a certain channel - you click channel X and it doesn't change the option. For example channel 6 is not selected, and I have a collision on channel 3, but I can't clear the collision because when I select channel 6 it won't select! Thus I can never map correctly. If you reboot the software it might let you do it. Not sure what is going on.
If I just leave the setting as is, I click through the wizard, save the settings, then when I reboot the device, plug in the cable, load the software, it says its a new device and none of my settings are saved. Not sure what is going on there.
I'm using the latest firmware on the device. I have come from Rotorflight, which worked fine for me except the tuning was very annoying. Used vbar for years but thought I would give spirit a go.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Mike
Setting up GT on MacOS
Think I have worked out the bug. For a given channel you change it to the channel you want - it won't change the UI. Then click the red X. This puts you back at diagnostic panel, then click layout again, go back into the software and the channel is mapped.
. If you repeat this you get there.

My main computer is a Mac. I’ve set up Spirit units with Jeti radios since the original red Spirit days. The basic setup interface has not much over the past 11 years. You have to manually activate both channel 1 (Throttle) and channel 7 (Banks) in the Spirit software as they come inactivated by default. As far as calibrating the channels in you Jeti radio so you end up with -100/0/+100 an all channels in the Spirit diagnostic tab, most of the channels are perfect with default values, one of the Jeti channels needs to be set to either 101 or 99% (I forget which one) to get perfect -100/0/+100 in the Spirit diagnostic tab, and the gyro channel (I believe channel 5) requires decreasing the Jeti travels down to about 87 or so for perfect -100/0/+100 values.
