Hi,

I see there has not been an update for over a year and little chat on the forum, is it worth trying or is it dying / abandoned? I was thinking of trying Aero as I use Hobby Eagle A3 Super 4, but I use Spirit in my helis however I don't want to invest effort into switching systems if Aero is end of life.

I think that Spirit is considered predominantly a helicopter aligned system and, indeed, works very well as such, with radio design very much associated with the task of flying RC helicopters.
I have no doubt that it can be used successfully to fly fixed wing craft, but share your misapprehension with the lack of traffic in anything non-rotary!
I will, however, try again with fixed wing implementations and see whether my assumptions are still valid?

I certainly understand, that if further comments and queries are not forthcoming, the developer will assume all is well and decline to make any updates or changes!

I need to say, i just LOVE Aero.
I fly 3D jets, and the aero is simply unmatched. For starters, you don´t need to worry about trim, it´s always trimmed! (unless you have a very bad mechanical setup)
Second, it will really HOLD like no other gyro (Spirit Aero is in hold mode by default)
Third, the precision for 3D maneuvers and hold is something that I don´t see even with "specialized" gyros like the AR SF20Pro.
The only area of improvement, is that you have a very limited outputs for fixed wing aircraft. It would be great if this could be matched with an expander w/stabilizaiton.

I have shared this With Thomas, hope he does not abandon Aero
