Spirit FBL help

Hello,

Rotorflight pilot here that needs some assistance understanding the way Spirit does things.

I have a Spirit S3 and Radiomaster RP3-H, running off of a Radiomaster TX15.

Everything is functioning except my throttle and pitch. Can't get the correlation between the unit and my radio. I am sure its my setup, but could use those few extra bits of info I am missing with Spirit.

Have a wall full of helis runnning Rotorflight.....figured this would be easier, but I admit I am struggling.

You can optionally set model to TAER channel layout instead of AETR. Alternatively changing channel layout manually will do the job too.
Please note channel numbering is different than what you can see in the radio, so only important thing is to set correct layout at one or another side (Spirit or Radio).
Make sure that channel directions are set so you can see Diagnostic tab moving correctly.

Thank you. I had gone throught this document before but did not swap the channels as everything looks correct on the page where you test the controls.

Do I have to make this channel swap?

My main issue now is I cannot get my esc to recognize a throttle signal. Thinking this might be the issue?

If you can see everything moving correctly then there is no need to change anything.

ESC must be plugged at the AUX1 port - you can verify function with a servo.
Make sure your Spirit is updated to the latest firmware.
