Dear Spirit Team,
in the HeliFreak forums are posts of you guys, that made me think that you did licence the technic for the bailout system from the german company Bavarian Demon (Captron). I asked Mr. Knut Schasse from Bavarian Demon what exactly you guys did licence. Because i own some BD3SX devices and it would be very cool if i could translate my bd3sx experience to your spirit.
but the answer was:
Hallo
Es ist nicht von uns Lizensiert
Es hat nichts mit uns zutun
Nein wir arbeiten nicht zusammen
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
which means. "No, we did not licence anything. They don't belong to us and we are not working together"
Can we get information from who you got the licence?
best regards,
Chris

Maybe they licensed the patent directly from Stefan Reich who holds several patents around stabilization systems for unmanned aircraft.
It would be nice to hear an official statement from Spirit.

Will it fly better then?
Any such an agreements (with regards to patents, licensing, acknowledgement of no patent infringement etc. etc.) among private companies are typically strictly confidential, as far as my experience goes. Sorry guys but don't expect any statement in public forum.

Mini Protos, Protos/DX7. Nějaká letadla ve stadiu chytání prachu.
We have licensed it by the patent owner, same as Captron. The technical realization and development are completely independent from each other, so everybody goes their own way.

LIKE!!!

My concern was simply for Spirit as a company. I would hate to see useless litigation causing problems. I work in the software industry where patent trolls can create huge problems for young innovative companies.
