I have a question, Since I have to use a port on my jeti r3 rx for the throttle this means I could set the ppm+ output on my r3 rx to 5 channels. So if I set it to only 5 channels do I still need to use 25ms for the rx ppm output. Or is 25ms only needed with 8 channel ppm into the spirit?
Thanks in advance,
Scott.

Sorry, I dont noticed your question.

It is recommended to use 25ms for PPM for current version in all cases.
For current version it will not work with 5 channels only (because of lack of gyro channel), for the following version it will be possible.

Thanks Thomas. I guess we with jeti and using mui's will just have to be patient with jeti to get us an expander that will communicate telemetry and exbus so we can utilize the spirits exbus protocol!

Or maybe the Spirit can support UDI which is also a great protocol that Jeti and many others support :-)
