Expo or something like?

I have had 2 flights with my T-Rex 500 this afternoon, so far i am impressed with the Spirit unit. My question is "is there a way to soften the feel on the cyclic around the centre?" On the AR7200bx i use dual rates and expo in flight mode 0 so that take off an landings are easy. I noticed on landing the heli was very twitchy/reactive. I thought i might tip it over. however in idle 1 while doing lookps rolls flips etc the feel was excellent. So is there a dual rate or expo i could use in the and switch using the banks or can i use it in the Tx?
thanks

With Spirit you can use Expo from transmitter without any issue as the unit does not use any internal expo.
Microbeast has its own expo built-in so there is a difference.
Also be sure your Rotation rate is not too high (not higher than necessary) else feel around center will be inprecise.
Also to achieve similar behavior you probably want to decrease Cyclic Feed Forward parameter (values between 4-5 should be similar to Microbeast). For Flight Style default settings are fine if you want to achieve similar flight behavior.

So you can freely set cca 25-30% TX Expo.

Not to derail this thread but I see this quite often... What is CCA?

on the Android App for the Spirit i noticed that there is an agility parameter. But in the PC software there isn't. I assume that it is the parameter is the Rotation Speed. I currently have that set at 8.

If i reduce the rotational speed will that act the same as lowering the rates. I can then put this on a bank switch and use the low rates to land and carry out hovering maneuvers, then switch to a higher rate to carry out flips and rolls.

Hi,

thank you, there is probably translation issue, but both are same parameters, so it should correspond to Sensor tab.
Yes, rotation rate parameter is inteded for this. Your steering should be more precise with lower values.
