By the way, can you confirm that after the bind process is complete then LED on the unit should be turned off, does it happened?
In case it is not turned off, then binding process was not succesfull for the unit.

Now that is interesting. My led on the spirit unit dims or pulses and then stays lit brightly after binding and does the same thing on all subsequent power ups. It never extinguishes when the unit is powered.

Hmm, that means that incoming data can't be processed for some reason.

Is your channel mapping in the TX in default?
Could you try to start the helicopter with throttle hold off, pitch stick in the center?

If even that will not help, than it seems as some problem in the unit. In this case you can send it to us if possible.
In case we can't find the reason for the problem we will ship you new unit for free.

ok powering on with mid stick did not work. The diagnostic tab always shows throttle at -1% and it is of course unresponsive just like the other channels.
My channel assignments in the dx9 are as follows:
1: Throttle
2: Aileron
3: Elevator
4: Rudder
5: gear
6: Aux1:pitch
7:Aux2
8:Aux3
9:Aux4

I just changed to 22ms frame rate and dsm2 in transmitter and tried binding with the bind plug in the sys port instead of ele/pit/ail port but unfortunately the spirit led remained lit despite the bind seeming to work for the transmitter and the sat.

We are in contact with Ed, he is sending the unit to us so we can examine it carefully.
