Hello,

just a small question about the stabilization mode. In the manual you have stated, that also the stabilization mode needs a negative gyro gain in order to be activated.

But why do I see a different behaviour on the ground with and without stabilization mode without a negative gyro gain? I have configured bank 0 without stabilization and rescue and bank 2 with stabilization.
If I tilt the helicopter in bank 0 the swashplate gets tilted but then returns to the normal position. In bank 2 the swashplate gets also tilted but then stays in this position until the heli is tilted back to the normal position.

Does that mean that the stabilisation is activated even without a negative gyro gain?

I don't really use the stabilization mode - it's just for interest.

Regards and many thanks

I think its normal for the swash to return to the normal position while in normal mode

Hello,

stabilisation is only activated with negative gyro gain.
So described behavior is correct.

Hello,

but why is the behaviour of bank 0 and bank 2 (without negative gyro gain) different on the ground? If the the stabilization is not activated in bank 2 I would have expected a similar behaviour of the two banks.

It depends on your settings.
If all is working correctly in the flight, then there is no problem.

If you are referring to the swashplate leveling on the ground, it is because the Spirit senses the vibrations created by the rotor and will return the swash plate back to level if the main rotor is not turning. It is a very smart safety feature so you don't have accidental tip overs on spool up.

This is not to be confused with self level mode.

Thanks - that I have understood. But this differs with and without stabilization (and without negative gyro gain). Try it out!
