I have a problem with me brand new newer flown spirit unit.
Seting it up worked fine I had no problem.

When I started the heli on the backyard for a test hover it seems like it initialized ok but nothing happens when I move the sticks. Lifting the heli by hand tilting it the gyro and servos working ok.

Back on the bench trying with a different sbus inverter cable also tryed anohter receiver but same story. Everything ok exept for the unit dont react on stick input.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hello,

make sure that S-Bus inverter is oriented correctly.

Shorter end of the cable should be connected to the receiver, while longer to the unit (RUD port).
Also make sure that your receiver is configured to Futaba S-Bus.

Ah, very strange.
Yan you check status LED on your receiver? There should be Green color if transmission is OK.

The receiver is fine, the throttle chanel is working ( direct from esc to reciever).
Also tryed with an another reciever, same story.
I've ordered a brand new usb inverter cable from you, see if it helps.

Maybe you can try to spool up the motor without blades and check what is really happening.

There could be for example just problem in the transmitter settings. For example after enabling throttle, rescue mode is activated.

Problem solved. After mounting the new cable everything worked fine.
Someting must have happened with the old usb cable (tarot).
Very good flying gyro by the way.
