Hi

I use 2 Spirit devices, and when looking at these in the Android app I can only see the serial number of each device. I continually forget that 0256 is my Goblin and the other number is my Gaui X5.

I would like to see a feature within the Spirit FBL tuning s/ware on mobile devices that makes it possible to set up a display name for each Spirit FBL. Could be that the s/ware shows me serial + display name in the connect UI - the most important point to take away from this is that I can clearly see which display name is associated with a particular serial number.

Changing the name should be done in the settings panel - this is going to be done very infrequently. For bonus points, ask the pilot what the display name of the new spirit device is once it gets paired for the first time.

Cheers

Hi,

if you are using androd 4+ (API 14) you can set alias name of BT module in settings of android. So far spirit android application does not support alias name, but it is not problem add to application.

Check this video. It is interesting for you?
