[SOLVED] PC Software Problem

While I wait for my Spirit system to arrive I have down loaded the PC software to check through it and am unable to get the program to open.

All I get on screen is 'Please wait - scanning devices'.

Do I need to have the Spirit unit plugged in before I can run the software as I thought there was a demo mode?

PC operating system is WinXP.

Hello,

this problem can occur if some already installed device in your computer is blocking our software.
Mostly it may be for example Bluetooth module so turning off will solve the problem.

It can be device that is creating COM port in the system that should be also visible in Device Manager under COM & LPT ports.
Maybe you have other interfaces that are plugged in your computer. Unplugging may help.

Demo mode should be offered to you immediately so can try all the features without the unit.

Ok thanks.
So what exactally should I be looking for on the PC.
This is a Desktop machine with no Bluetooth connection as far I know.

Now sorted.

Bluetooth adaptor software installed.
No idea when and have never used it but all now works after uninstalling it.
