Hi,

I have the issue with my Diabolo 550, that in forward flights the heli "puts its nose down". Difficult to describe.
I am using mks servos, jive pro and xnova. The mechanical setup was done through soko heli tools, like I did on my Diabolo 800 and Goblin 770 (also spirit) which do not show that behavior.

I know not much details, but so far that is all I have, any hints for deeper investigations appreciated.

Hi,

you may try to check CG (center of gravity). If it is out of center (heavy nose) then it can behave like this.
Also you can check servo travel in low and high positions. Some mechanics may be unequal so with cyclic leveler it can be configured very precisely using Servo Travel Correction in the software.

If you enable Servo/Subtrim (tuning) in the software, are cyclic servo arms perpendicular to the servos, push rods without any inclination, swash plate in the horizontal position and pitch blade at 0° at the same time?

Many thanks for your feedback.

I did a full check with soko heli tools and made sure servo-arms and mechanics are leveled/set up correctly. No real major changes needed though. CG is perfect.

Will check servo travel in low and high positions later, but so far good news, did 10 flights yesterday and no nose down any more :)

Sorry for bothering you and thanks for your ideas. Don't really know what it caused. Support is outstanding here.

Thanks,
Andreas
