You also can't get fast bailout spoolup if your governor was not engaged previously.
I really don't see absolutely any problem.

It's OK then. I missed this in the manual.

Ok,
2 problems with the gov. When I powerup my heli and the spirit is initialized, when I release thr hold I get Fast spoolup bailout to the curve i did set (80%)
If I than put thr hold on again, and then release I get softstart every time. The first time it Always gives bailout!
Second problem, I tried what you sad about middle possition of a 3 way to 12% and then my heli will Always give bailout spoolup so this clearly doesn't work right. Endpoints learned correctly, using yge, everything setup fine.

Hi,
I experienced more or less a related issue. Using a normal curve, I observe a very fast spoolup up to ~50% (RPM ~ 2600). Beyond 50%, the rotor RPM decreases because likely in the gov mode. Therefore, I'm compelled to take off directly in an idle (flat curve ~70% TC) position which gives the expected slow spool up. Otherwise, trying to take off using the normal curve results in a very fast spool up leading to a brutal torque to the heli and likely producing some stress in the gears.
My ESC is a TGY plush and I performed the min max TC configuration without any problem (with the standard value 1100 - 1900 µs left) with an external RPM sensor
Maybe a solution could be to program the governor trigger limit at lower value than 50%, let's say aroud 10%, range which the ESC is still unable to prompt the motor. Anyway, it won't prevent to set a bail out using the gov either.

velocity90: What is your value for the throttle hold? It looks like the helicopter is initialized with high TC value.
igloo: You are right, you should use spoolup procedure from the governor else your RPM can get higher than governed speed that is configured as Requested. But it can be correct with changing the configuration.

-94, futaba is stock that way so you have thr cut for nitro if you need it, but it was learned to the esc to be 0. Its 0 in the spirit software

What do you see in the Diagnostic tab? - this is important.
