Yes but with 1600 you need a lot more collective add than 1950 rpm. I really think the amount we can set it to small

Follow the tuning guide and should be able to get good performance out of it. Take a look below on governor performance for my 450L and Goblin 500 Sport. Flight style was sport with flips with extra bad collective management and a few rolls. The 450L is struggling a bit more being a 3S as you can see from the voltage drops when punching the collective, but even then the RPM's don't vary much. Also the goblin having much more power can hold much better. Make sure you are geared correctly (check this: http://calc.kfmconsulting.se and gear as per the recommendation for + performance for no bog / target performance for a bit less strain on the power system)

Experimented some more, I have both values almost maxed, only the value that goes to 10 I have 9. Its ok but theres a lot of room for improvement. I don't know if it's a mezon problem but vbar gov worked fine. There's a lot of rpm drop with agressive cyclic. Full punchouts can be improved too.

What current do you log? I have got 160A max with 696 Blades and 12° on my 700. With 2100 rpm.
Have you tried to increase max range? To lets say 2000us. Just to see if Mezon got learnd higher value at some stage.
Can you log ESC TC signal in your setup?

67 amps max I think, have to check my jlog to be sure, serieusly, I have collective management as a low rpm flyer.

Mezon let's you enter the pulse value so its set at 1900us max, exactly the same as the Spirit. Measured with a pulse detector to be sure.

Using 12 pitch and mostly 1650. This shouldn't be a problem at all with a costum rewound pyro 700. My flying buddy uses a 650 pyro and has zero rpm drop with the kosmik kontronik gov.

To clarify, I make a lot of comparisons to the vbar be cause that's what I flow before the Spirit. The Spirit feels much better, much better and I'm very happy with it, I hope with my criticism to help improve the Spirit. But the gov needs work asap.

endpoints and gearing is spot on, this is with 1650 and and 1850 rpm.

Can you post Throttle plot, please? Your governor settings are looking really weird.
We will see if throttle is reaching the max. limit.

It looks like there is really some problem, you can try to decrease RPM Sensor Filter - lower is better.
Changing Throttle Frequency can affect the response significantly as well.
It looks like there is some delay in the response, which is unwanted for external governor. Changing these two parameters can help a lot.

Hi,

I had to find out the gearratio for my jlog2 but now its set. Tomorrow I have rpm plots.

Do I lower the filter until I get Warning's in the log?

Whats also weird, if I spoolup in normal mode I get the requested 1680 perfectly, if I go to idle1 and back I get 1740rpm with 1680 requested. This is only there if I go from idle1 to normal again.

Here are the logs, same behaviour as on the bench, I start with 1650, then go to 1850, if I go back to 1650 its 1740, thats not normal, Also you see extreme pwm dips, at those points rpm drops a lot, it happens when changing idles.

Its not holding that great. ESC is on plane mode. No other thing I can change on the esc.

rpm filter at 4 now. And 200khz.
