+1, having +/-14 collective I had to go up to +/-12 cyclic to avoid pitch up (still does it a bit though), but it could also be due to the very low inertia of a small, light heli in my opinion.

To make it work well in any situation it is good to have col. pitch = cyclic pitch if it is safe.

Well, that's a good suggestion for a small heli, I assume, but I think that for bigger helis this will be VERY dangerous (I think that the Spirit Software should NOT give such a suggestion, personally, that's how people "achieve" blade/boom strikes).

Yes, that is why I have written if if is safe. But since we are talking about oxy 2 it should be safe if head speed is not dropping too much.
Spirit Software is showing warnings about that in few places.

You are right, it was probably in older versions of the software/manual.
Sorry.
Are you not supposed to be in holidays??

Made some changes and will test it out tomorrow.

Much better with my most recent changes but still wobbling at speed. And in a hover I noticed today a very slight, slow tail bob so I'm thinking it's something mechanical but vibe logs look good. I replaced the spindle and rolled the main shaft on a mirror and blade tracking is perfect.
Also maidened my Protos Max with the Spirit Pro and it went beautifully. It just sat there in an inverted hover like time had frozen. I could have set the transmitter down and made a sandwich it was so fixated in place. A little blade shutter during heavy cyclic maneuvers but I know that is due to damaged thrust bearings.

Good. You can make sure that each ball linkage is moving freely. This is not the case by default with oxy 2.
So it require ball reamer or in the worst case to use pliers with a gentle force.
This can make everything much better, especially tail hunting.
Also it is possible that during mounting thread locker could lock the tail mechanics in the plastic, tail slider is then not smooth at all.
Tail hunting is in the most cases caused by tighter mechanics. Then it could be also caused by too high governor gain (less likely).

What I meant by tail bob is that the tail boom can be seen moving up and down slightly and at a slow frequency. That tail on this thing is pretty solid. I'm still playing with tail gain but it's hard to tell what is tail way and what is cyclic oscillations when this little guy gets moving so fast. Tail was solid with the micro brain fbl as well so I don't think I have any problems there. Links are all very free after I reamed them all out. One of my cyclic servos is a little stiffer/ harder to move without power than the others so I might try a new one. I also have a slight amount of radial play in my main shaft bearings that could be an issue. I've read that it should fly fine with default cyclic gain but I'll lower it and test again tomorrow and also hopefully get some video.
