I have now reduced the value down to 1000us in the Spirit unit and have tried to re-calibrate the esc's throttle range to it.
Still not working.
With the throttle stick at full on switch on I get the correct two tones coming from the motor.
When the stick is reduced back down to zero I do not get the correct tone sequence.
To reconfirm I just have plugged the ESC directly into the Jeti R3L receiver with nothing else and straight away I get the correct tones and the ESC and motor work OK.
Esc throttle calibration works every time and all perfect.
Not through the Spirit though???

Jeti has by default range of approximately 1000 - 2000us.
You can try even lower value in the Spirit Settings - nothing wrong will happen.
If it reacts to the high position it is good signature.
You can basically try any value from 700 - 1300us. With mouse wheel it is matter of a few seconds.
It is very hard to say what is programmed in your radio. But obviously this is the range that ESC expect.

Also make sure, that when configuring this Min. limit your Throttle is at 0% or Throttle Hold is engaged. You can verify it in the Diagnostic tab.

Transmitter seems to have nothing out of the ordinary set up in it with -98% and +103% to give the 0 to 100 in the Spirit software.
Reducing the minimum limit in the software down as low as 700us makes no difference to anything.
ESC will still not arm and when trying to calibrate the throttle I still get the correct two Beeps at high stick but multiple beeping when the stick is lowered to the minimum position.
Very confusing and can’t quite decide where the problem is.
Is there any further testing I can do?

I have forgot to tell you to reduce Throttle Frequency in the unit. This could be the problem.
Set 60Hz. This can help.
Did you tried to go also higher? Over 1100us up?

I will try both of these things later.
I’m pretty sure that the frequency is set to higher than 60hz at the moment.

There are only few ESCs that can work with higher frequency reliably. So it is possible that 60Hz is needed.
Receiver can output usally 50Hz only. Jeti support also 100Hz if reconfigured from default. But it is still lower than any other options that are available in Spirit.

Throttle frequency now reduced to 60hz and lower limit restored to default and the esc now arms and calibration is possible.
So motor now runs.
I will see if I can setup the onboard governor to work as there is also supposed to be a problem with the rpm output of the esc.

Good job, so the problem was too high frequency.
That is good to know.
