Yes that would be the most simplistic way.

I'm glad its not just us doing something wrong.
If your using the map its the same as the TX method.
You select 2 points in diagonal corners. Move mouse to first point and select then move mouse diagonally to the second point and click. That's all you need to do the software will draw the rectangle. If your trying to draw a box that's the wrong way to do it.

Hi i have same problem.

The rectangle which is genereated is not the one i need.
I need the rectangle rotated in the map.

Is there a way to rotate the rectangle in the map?
If not it would be really necessary to implent that feature, because without the Geo Fence is useless.

Here a picture from what i mean.
The yellow rectangle is what i need.

This is the exact problem i am having.

It's easy to set, and make a rectagle, but it will never form it where i would like it. Exactly as catdog has shown.

Logox2 are you able to set yours like that, with the rectangle lining up exactly where you would like it, or just an area roughly around where you fly?

Such a rectangle to make along the impossible black line would require 5 points.

Or simply a funktion to rotate the rectangle on the map. Its ok if u can do only a 2 point rectangle on the field as a quick and dirty solution. But at least at the software it should be possible to rotate the rectangle as u need.

Why? All you would need is one side of the square you have made run along that black line.

From what I have tried, it almost seems like the 2 selected points i plot must line up either north south or east west.

I have 3 areas I can fly at our field. Two run East and West and the other North and South.
So yes I have been able to set my fences on the field as I want.
Looking at the attachment your runway runs North East to South West or North West to South East. And the trouble you are having is setting the fence along those coordinate's. Is that correct ??

Look at the both pictures above. These pictures shows exactly the problem. Sure u can make a rectangle which is big enough that the fligjt area is in it, but that is not the goal of a geo fence. The fence should be like my yellow line. My flight field isnt in a straight line from north to south or west to east.

Would be nice if a developer could answer.
It seems that the problem is not only by me.

All pilots whose flying field istnt exactly from north to south or from west to east, cant use the geo fence feature.
