Why MEMS sensor with 12-Axis Sensor Fusion
(rotation to 2000°/s !).

Why is 12 better than 9 in the Spirit Pro. Will it make a big difference?

The gyro itself has better parameters with respect to vibration immunity and in our tests displayed more precise flight characteristics.
The sensor core enables advanced algorithms to dramatically improve Rescue/Stabilisation precision (not used yet).
Also it has additional set of 3 sensors that will make it even more precise and possibly to add new features that were not possible with other units.

What is meant by
‘Support for GeoLink is built-in from the beginning” with a safer data transmission.

Congratulations Tomas and Team on Spirit 2 FBL unit. Really looking forward to trying it for sure!

One simple question please ... clarification:
Is the latest Software / Firmware updates are 2.6.4, is this just for Spirit 2 FBL only?
Or, does 2.6.4 Software / Firmware also work on previous Spirit units - specifically for Spirit Pro ?

Thanks, Dave

This mean that however poor connection to GeoLink is or however damaged the cable is it will still work safely. Connection has better electrostatic protection so it should be just more reliable.

Thank you Dave!
It will work with all Spirit units without any problem.

So we can put a file created for the Spirit Pro directly into a Spirit 2 without making any changes?

Yes, zero changes are needed.

That is awesome news Tomas and team that all Spirit FBL units, even new Spirit 2 can use the latest software and firmware, making migration to Spirit 2 easy, and updates will work on both Spirit and Spirit 2. With the new features, and ease of migration to Spirit 2, Spirit just keeps getting better and better! Congrats again, and thanks for all you and your team have done to make this newer technology possible. Brilliant! Thanks again! Dave

This is the first im hearing of the new spirit 2. Very exciting! Im really glad to see the end pins! It will really clean up the wiring on both my scale helis.

Someone mentioned a spirit 2 pro thats coming or in the works. I have a 700 scale Roban I am in the process of building but due to life and other projects, it wont be done until next spring. Is this new "2 pro" something thats going to be available in the next couple weeks? Months? 6 months? Over a year? I will wait for it if its only going to be a couple months (3-4?) or if its going to be a long wait like the Geolink was I will just order the regular "2".

Any info you can provide on this would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
