If rth is enabled, rescue does nothing.
I cant check this for a while as I crashed that heli yesterday (battery came unplugged lol) but that's what I remember happening.
Do you have a spirit red and geo in a heli that you can check this?
I'm waiting on parts for a few weeks now.
Tested it today it does work.
Activated RTH model starts Home
Activated Rescue model levels out and goes up.
Released Rescue model resumes travel to home point.

RTH, for me, is used when the heli is so far away I can no longer work out orientation.
I totally agree, instead of having to use 2 channels at the same time 1 = RTH and 2 = Altitude hold.
I like being able to set the altitude
Or being able to turn RTH and Altitude hold at the same time in one channel so you can vary the altitude if you need.

You can do that by setting RTH and alt limit on the same switch.
It would return at the height it was at when you enabled the switch.

Hi jjuk,
I tried RTH and Alt limit on my small testing heli a 230S with uSpirit a few weeks ago and it blocked my controls when I tried it on the ground.
I posted if it was normal and had no answer. I have a ESC problem with tha test heli and I don’t want to try it on my 380.
I do like the scenarios proposed with the steps, it’s guaranteed to work and be supported.
