It is better to use AR8010T in any case, but not with PWM, but SRXL connection. This is safer and more reliable.

One Spektrum satellite without receiver might be enough, but I recommend 2 satellites. Or AR8010T.

so it will be safe to run srxl1 on the unit and have full integration?
I'm planning on using all 3 satellite ports on the ar8010t with the newer satellites from spektrum, as i don't want to mix old with new.

Thanks, Pete

It will be perfectly safe. But with this receiver there is no integration possibility.
It has SRXL v1 which does not support integration.

Please take a look here:
http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... ntegration

You will need receiver such as (if you want integration/telemetry support):
SPM4649T (discontinued), SPM4650, SPM4651, SPM9747, AR6610T

So when you say integration you mean telemetry? I'm not fussed on telemetry to be honest. So can i use the single cable into srxl for rf purposes only and it work? That is all i want to use it for.
Thanks,

Pete

No, by integration I mean possibility to configure Spirit unit directly from your radio.
And also telemetry transmission.

But AR8010T is more than enough for flying.

Right, hopefully my last question on this!!
What is the best way to wire the rx to the spirit 2?
Thanks

Scratch that last comment. I'm going to be using the srxl for connecting to the spirit.
I didn't want to just dismiss this rx as it has some good reviews. Plus i didn't fancy dropping another £100+ for new receiver and sat with program cable!. Although it's not the new srxl2 protocol it's still a very good bet in my mind, as having the 2 antennas coming out of the rx and the 3 satellites that will be connected, i think my rf signal will be covered.

All axis's and grey spots will be covered by the sats.

Thanks for all the help :D
