In the transmitter you should not configure your aileron/elevator range at all. Dual Rates or similar functions will change only speed of the rotation.
But swashplate can get to the angles so it can bind somewhere.

Thus corrrect settings in the unit is necessary.

So, just to make sure you understood me correct or viceversa -

I configured max values in cyclic ring now and programmed my pitch curve in my remote control to the max and min pitch values I want to have.
On aileron and elevator I have 100%.

Correct?

Many thanks!

I think not.

Cyclic Ring to max without mechanical binding. (higher Risk of Boom strike)
Pitch for Aileron and Elevator to max. 12°, not higher like cyclic Pitch

Maximum Pitch set with Pitch Range in Spirit, not with Pitch curve in tx

To be clearer: Ail, Ele and Pitch ATV or End Points set in the TX so to see -100 and +100 in the Diagnostic screen.

Collective Pitch range set in Spirit to achieve, say,+/-12.

Aileron/Elevator range (also called Cyclic Ring, I assume this is what is causing misunderstandings) set in Spirit to the maximum possible value without binding in any combination of sticks (same value as Collective Pitch range should be ok, you can go higher but you have more risk of boom strike).

You´re sure?

I have 12,5° collective Pitch and if I set cyclic Ring also to 12,5°, the higher boom strike risk is already there.
Your description sounds, all under the max Pitch range for cyclic ring is fine, but it´s not true.
You can look everywhere, all setup guides for cyclic Pitch range is around 8°.
Why?

I don't know about degrees. Neither the AR7200BX nor the Spirit talk about cyclic degrees

Personally, I would not even know ho to measure cyclic degrees exactly.

I just know that same value of Ail/Ele range as the one of Pitch range works fine.

And Tomáš said "the higher the better" - to a certain extent which is blade strike possibility,

@coco66:: actually I think you hit the nail on the head. Missed this one. (Collective Pitch range )
