From perspective of the unit it is safe similarly as with any other SRXL protocol.
Regarding AR7700 reliability you have to ask Spektrum manufacturer.

I believe that it will work well.
But you can do range tests and other verifications to be sure it will work fine.

When i was asking abuut that is it safe, i was meaning the new SRXL implementation isnisde spirit, not the radio link between the tx, and the ar7700.
But the answer i was looking fo is in you last comment, so thanks, tomorrow i can try it
