After my last changes I could test last weekend. I could raise cyclic gain to 77% now (to much? no high frequency oscillations) and get a nearly wobble free heli. Only when reducing pitch while hovering and in fast forward flight there is some oscillation on the elevator axis.

The wobble when reducing pitch while hovering can be the result of descending in the downwash?

Is there any Setting, what could change the oscillation in fast forward flight?

best regards

Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang, can you let me know, what caused the vibrations at the end of the day, was it just the bad bearing or did you address more.
In regards of Tail balancing, as you still got vibs there, I got quite good results with adding some little tapes to one blade.
I'm sure this can also be done on main blades, as long as it's not mechanical but related to balance.

Cyclic Parameters, I leave this up to Tomas.

I recommend to decrease Cyclic Gain to 60%, reducing little bit can help you in the fast forward flight.
If not, then the problem that was there is probably still present (altought in a low extent).

How did you configured Elevator Filter parameter in the Advanced tab?

The stability with 77% is better than 60%, so reducing looks not like a good option. Maybe I will give it a try when other modifications will not work.

The Elevator filter is not changed from factory settings.

Hello Zexx86,

do you recommend modifying the "Elevator filter" value?

best regards

Wolfgang

This parameter shouldn't affect FFF, but if it is too high, it could cause some problems.
Generally value of 2 is good for any helicopter.

It is mainly used for reduction of the bounce-back effect during agressive elevator input.

I raised elevator filter to 2 and now it flies like I want it. Great control, now it's perfect.
