I have seen those logs, with all respect you are not testing or even slightly making the governor work. Your voltage telemetry shows you have been mostly flying around /hovering, and did one or 2 flips. Nothing that would upset even a align governor.

Just posting that log as you mentioned Normal practice t start with low pitch on spool up also the rpm change when switching idle ups during flight. No offence taken, just trying to help you. I'll post some of more aggressive flying from the 450L tonight and you'll see similar results there too

I've attached 2 logs from the Trex 450L with more aggressive flying - pitch pumps, inverted punch outs, rescue used a few times (hence aggressive correction and pitch) and the usual flips/rolls. Probably not even close to your flying style but its the most aggressive telemetry I could find

Hope it helps you!
This one is with 3S setup and 326 Rail blades - you can see the gov holding well despite the sharp voltage drops / spikes
This one with 3S setup and 360 Align blades - here you can see the switch between flight modes and the gov holding pretty well despite the longer blades and 3S setup

Actually there are some 300 rpm dips but you can tweak the gov some more I think.

Yeah I hadn't changed the gearing for the 360 blades and was running too high a pinion for the setup. Also had done no tuning with these blades - only with the 326 rail ones. Didn't like the 1m reduction in flight time so off the went

This one is far more under powered than the Goblin 500 and I had to up the governor response by 2 points higher than the goblin. That made it hold better but still there are higher fluctuations than the goblin, probably due to voltage sag and low power motor (the align 460mx 3200 KV)

460mx is not! Low power

I too am having an rpm sensor dirty. if i run the motor with no load, I get no errors. Would this indicate an issue with a servo then?

Did those ferrite rings not help you either?

I tossed the HW 50 because the battery lead was fraying with no easy way to repair.
I currently have a yep 40 with HW phase sensor. Im using a ferrite ring on the esc. That's not working either. I have the filter down to 2.
It's possible it's a servo though. I Plan on changing servos anyway from KST's to spectrum h3050's for the weight savings.

I hope not, kst /tgy are widely used servos. Never had problems with them.
