Interesting - I got my answer, but not the solution. Seems the Castle Live Link Telemetry has a maximum rpm of 100,000. So, 100,000 divided by my gear ratio = 10,000. Divided by my sensing divider (3) = about 3400. So, the maximum rpm the telemetry will send is 3400. Which is interesting considering if you SET RPM in the Talon gov to 3400, it says it is too low to be reliable.

Now let's consider the Spirit gov. It says the maximum Head Speed is 4,000. If that is true, then how can I use the Spirit governor on Oxy2?

Last question - When an rpm sensor is properly installed and functioning in uSpirit pin P, does the Spirit Telemetry read rpms from the P pin or the throttle link?

Thank you. Enjoy your vacation!

Thank you.

Telemetry and governor are two different things. The readings from both are separated.

Unfortunately Cc telemetry has limited range as you said. But castle governor is not limited in this way. So you can set it and use.

Spirit governor is limited by 4000 rpm but by decreasing sensing divider you can get a proper operation. Unfortunately rpm will be displayed incorrectly. For example divider at half value will result in 2x lower reported rpm. With some radios such as frsky you can multiply it so the telemetry value can be fixed.
