It will be interesting when all the information comes out about the radio. How it is intended with e.g. how to connect other gyro (futaba) telemetry etc!

Our Spirit units have support for many telemetries from ESC and GeoLink. So you will get all these data immediately.
Other units can be connected with protocol such as SBUS. But there will be only basic features for controlling the model. No telemetry.

Can you tell us about the radio protocol being used, how can we be reassured no issue of Signal to Noise or interference can affect the performance ? And Telemetry ? Are all the channel very fast or they’re are only a few fast channel and the rest are slower?

And congrats this is a major développement ! Glad I use Spirit on my helis and get even more control in the radio.

Oh and one more question, how can we use Wave radio with a simulator like Heli-X ?

I look forward to plug-n-play automatic throttle calibration with at least the most popular ESCs (YGE "T", Scorpion Tribunus, etc) which already have such feature with the Mikado VBar Control radio, so no need to conduct the annoying high/low collective stick calibration. Also programmability of these ESCs from the radio (like with the Mikado VBC radio) would be welcomed. Jeti radios allow for too limited programmability of YGE ESCs to be of any significant use, so Jeti is the low bar and Mikado the current high bar to beat regarding ESC programmability from the radio.

ESC programming will be fully supported when radio is released. There is nothing that can't be added sooner or later so we can add any feature very quickly. It is easier than adding features to FBL unit actually.

Yes, radio protocol is completely designed by us and after our testing we found it has slightly better parameters than JETI radios under same condition. Where JETI signal is lost our radio can still operate with full telemetry. Yet it can work with no issue in environment where for example 20 radios are running at same location.

Thanks Thomas and about the simulator ? Will you have something to use with heli-x ?

You should be able to just plug it in the PC via usb C and it will work as Jeti does.
