Regarding materials there we have measured that absolutely any material has an influence on the GNSS signal. If it is metallic, it has of course bigger effect. Closer to the module, the bigger is impact.
So a thicker and wider parts are always bad. But plastic parts have just very minor influence on everything.

Regarding the rod I think that it does not pose a problem.

Is there any plan when the preordered Geolink units will be shipped? It would be nice to just have a rough idea or to see some signs of progress......
