I will test this. Usually with insane headspeeds theres no problem but fly 1650 rpm on a 700 size and you need a good governor. 2200 rpm will always work fine.

Don't own a Nitro but the governor on both my 450L and Goblin 500 Sport work perfectly (see telemetry below)

Flight style was sport with flips with extra bad collective management and a few rolls. The 450L is struggling a bit more being a 3S as you can see from the voltage drops when punching the collective, but even then the RPM's don't vary much. Also the goblin having much more power can hold much better.

Hi, which sensor works best / better with Spirit ?

The Align / RCE sensor (even with the wires the "right" way round :D ) does not seem to work well, in this case and from my own experience.

With the exception of a backplate sensor (have YS motors with steel backplates) I will get a specific sensor if it is deemed to work well.

@jgiannakas:
This is topic about governor for nitro. I wrote, that it worked well in my MiniProtos (electric). Problem was/is in nitro (namely, GAUI NX4 - I can not speak for other ones, because I do not have experiences...).

@Dawiev:
I use Align sensor, which seems to work well (no errors in logs regarding noise from RPM sensor and I saw RPM readings when I was connected to Spirit via Bluetooth - I tested it till about 16k without blades)

We have already found what might cause a problems in this helicopter.
a) Plastic cover for the fan is manufactured so, that it completely covers the magnets, making connection between sensor possibly not strong enough. But there is one hole for this purpose - altough not everyone is using this, because it may not be in a good position for your sensor.
b) Manual suggest magnets polarity - one positive, one negative. I highly recommend two positive magnets or just one (we will find optimal count).
