I would be mainly interested in (1) speed measurement and (2) some sort of return to home feature for when I loose sight of the helicopter. I would be happy with bringing the heli back to a distance of 150 feet or so away from me.

Dear Tomas,
I'm looking for a FBL for my new Heli.
Since I'm very pleased with the Performance of the Spirit, I will buy a second Spirit.
Question is only if Normal or Pro.
Pro for Pro would be the GPS functionality.

Do you have an update, when we can count with GPS support (days, months, years)?

Thanks a lot!
Best regards
Thomas

I would think a return home feature of 40 - 50 feet would be better if you needed to land quickly and for smaller helis visual wise.

Tomas,

Any update on the GPS unit? I know development time on these things is hard to predict exactly but it would be great to have some progress updates.

Hello,

I can say that we are progressing very well. We have finished modules so now we are just adding features.
Dimensions are 50x40x3mm so it can be mounted nearly anywhere.

Testing will begin in the following weeks.

Hello Tomas,

Can you tell us about these added features that will be incorporated into the GPS system and what the approximate cost will be to the consumer.

Regards,
Kevin

Well, one of my concerns is that I don't have many pins left.

ELE pin / Aux2 signal pin/ Ch0 pins. /Sat pins

Will data pin be assignable?

40 x 50 mm seems big !
I'm guessing it needs to be mounted on the boom.
