Hello,

Spektrum Multi Adapter is not compatible with a SRXL2 receivers.
You have to buy SRXL2 receiver that will accept SRXL2 satellites. In this way you can connect for example 2 satellites and 1 main receiver.
Spektrum is offering wider range of SRXL2 receivers now.

Likely we dont want to mix up old and new technology together as there are rather cons than pros, so old DSM2/X Spektrum satellites will not work together with SRXL2. This would add even more confusion and more options for unwanted issues.
You can still buy SPM4649T receiver if you want to use older Spektrum satellites.

Now you have options like AR6610T with few SPM4650 / SPM4651 / SPM9747 or just these satellites.

Hello Tomas

So if i get this right, with a Spirit Pro i can use:
1 A spm 4649t with 2 dsmx sats out the side of unit or more if using sat multi adaptor.
2 A spm4651t only on its own with no sats.
3 A ar6610t with 1 SRLX2 sat,( including a spm4651t) will i still be able to use Spektrum intigration? I asume this will be limited to 6 channels...

1) Yes
2) Yes, or any other SRXL2 receiver
3) You can use all available channels your radio has. Yes, Spektrum integration and telemetry will work.

Guess I have to arrange a return with Horizon. I guess for now it not worth putting all the extra money into a receiver then two SRXL2 sats.

With SRXL2 the only receiver i can see at the moment that you can use a sat with is the SPM6610t and then you can only use 1 sat. But do we need any more sats with SRXL2?

Your right, I wasn’t thinking right. All you would need is the receiver and the sat. But still to much extra cost at this point. Maybe things will change in the future. Why change things when when what you have works?

I was looking at the AR6610T 6-Channel DSMX Telemetry Receiver. The two antenna on this receiver are about 6” and 7” long respectively. It seems to me that they are like the Vbar Neo where only their unit/receiver is needed for any size heli. Do you really think a remote receiver would be needed for a 700 size heli? It is listed as a full range receiver and it only mentions remote receivers for large planes with carbon fuse. What do you think?

Well i still have the 2 SPM4651t receivers so could get a AR6610t receiver and use the 4651t as a sat. I have 3 other helis with Sparton FBL units with AR8000 and 1 sat. Perhaps we are being over cautious by wanting to use 2 sats plus a receiver(4649T)?...

If we used only a AR6610t receiver, that would give us only 6 channels. Would using a SPM4651t receivers or SRXL2 remote receiver increase the total number of channels available?

AR6610t will transmit all channels, not just 6 channels.
