My receiver is a Futaba R7008SB
Edit: I think my receiver was in the wrong mode, will try changing it to reflect S-BUS mode(mode B)
Edit: changed from mode A to Mode B but no difference.

We were able to replicate the issue now. Thanks for the details.

We found that it is related to a battery connector and how battery is connected.
If connection is not good initially (within around first 50 miliseconds) then unit will not boot up.
Now we are working on fix.

Some times i got it right plugging in the battery, but more often than not i did not.....
