I have a few suggestions for the governor:

1. Improve soft start. I want to run ESC in multirotor or airplane mode and let Spirit control everything. Right now I have to use ESC soft start because Spirit soft start is too aggressive, kicks the tail out. I have seen same report from others trying to use multi or airplane mode ESC setting.

2. Provide adjustment for how fast motor ramps up in autorotation bailout.

1. This problem can occur when your throttle hold has too high value.
If you will decrease TC for Hold mode, it will start from this value and spoolup will be very smooth.

So basicaly if it is not smooth, settings is not correct.

My throttle hold shows exactly 0 in the diagnostic monitoring in Spirit software. Are you saying for the soft start to work properly I might need to have throttle hold give a negative value? Does it need to match the value I configured in the gov settings for ESC min throttle?

Would it be possible to add a special Failsafe Bank?

I am using the Spirit's with EX-BUS, where i am not able to use JETI Receivers Failsafe functionality. As I understand, the Spirit will cut of Throthle, if it detects a RX lost. It would be very awesome, if the Spirit would instead switch to a "Failsave Bank" where we can set up our prefered Failsafe behavior. E.g. such as "Stabilization Mode; 0° Pitch; Motor off"

ChrisTTian667: Upcoming firmware will bring new possibilities regarding Failsafe, so you will be able to configure any channel as you wish.

simplechamp: yes, if ESC has small gap between running state and disabled state, then increasing this gap will help you.

Can we make a change for adjusting the tail servo limits so that when your adjusting them they dont slam to the side your adjusting? Possibly be able to use the tx to slowly move the tail to the direction needed to adjust, hold it there then slid the slider? Every time I make a tail endpoint adjustment it slams to the hub or tail boom.

Pretty sure it was like you want it, the fact is you needed to use one hand to keep the stick to the maximum on the TX and another hand to move the slider on the PC, and all this while carefully looking close to the tail to see binding... a mess.

Luckily they changed it with one of the updates. And personally, I prefer it sooooo much like it is now.

Just to bring it up again,
the adjustable recovery flip rate ;-)

As limiting the flip rate through cyclic ring reduction, reduces the possible fbl performace by effectively reducing its control overhead.

Happy new year !

I would also like the possibility of having negative values in Rudder Common Gain.
Like that, it would be possible to have a Bank which is permanently Rescue (or Level), without having to mess up with positive/negative on the TX (not always easy to do).

The scenario is:
- Gyro gains set in the TX, for the different flight modes/headspeeds
- Bank 0 for normal flight, with Rudder Common Gain 1,00x
- Bank 1 as "always Rescue", through Rudder Common Gain being negative (-1,00x)
To activate Rescue I just have to switch to Bank 1 without messing up with Gyro gain values, and during Rescue I will have the exact Gyro gain value that works for that headspeed

Of course this could be achieved with a specific setup option of considering a Bank "Stabi function always active".
But my proposals sounds much easier to implement, honestly.
