Did you try the selective reboot that Adrian suggested?
What happens when the RPM sensor is not connected?

Yes, even if I connect the spirit last (checking impulse and Im sending 1100 at that point) I get the jump to 1400us at first spoolup which causes the abrupt spoolup.

On your vid I see you use a three position switch to flick out of hold.
What is programmed on all those positions?
Is there a monitor screen on your TX to show what happens with the throttle channel?

Middle position is not used in the vid

The behavior is very strange. In the attached settings I can't see anything wrong.
Could you try what happen when you disconnect the sensor?

I can reproduce the behavior with my DX9 setup. If I change in TX Speed for throttle from NORMAL to 0.1, I got exactly the same effect, but on every spool-up.
Normal: OFF 900us release Hold: 1100us ramp up to 1900us as it should be with 200us jump
With Speed 0.1: OFF 900us release Hold: 1300us ramp up to 1900us with 400us jump
As I speculated on previous post, Spirit sees TC for a very short time somewhere around 40% and starts ramp-up from there, as this looks like intend idle TC power.
Question is now, why does this happen from Radio Side in your setup and why only on first spool-up. Is there any parameter in your radio influencing TC speed?
How can this be avoided on Radio setup or within Spirit? (TC Input Filter, if GOV in Spirit engaged)

You mean the phasesensor? Already tried, same jump the first time to 1400.
Question Zexx, did you test the sbusinverter with the futaba receivers set to Hi speed (7ms) (orange light) or slow speed (14ms)?
What kind of setting is that Adrian? And no, stock futaba new model, theres no setting im aware of.

Servo setting in dx9 like subrim, reverse and range, there is also one setting for speed per servo, where I can select how fast this channel will move. Usefull for equipment like gear, flaps or landing spoilers on gliders. I did select 0.1 means 100ms for Throttle Channel to get same kind of jump as you did. Looks as there is a puls issue between devices.
@Zexx: Maybe LowPass Filter is required, if Gov enabled

That's above my head. Im 100 procent certain its something in the Spirit. I ruled everything out. Measured everything. I hope its found soon. I would like to try the gov before switching completly over to spirit.

I am sure it is something in the transmitter settings or transmission of the data as you are only one affected by the issue.
Did you tried default transmitter settings as recommended?
S-Bus inverter should never be used with the Spirit Pro. It is already integrated there.
