Spirit software question

Hello, I now have 3 spirit units and am very happy. I however only own an apple imac (desktop) in addition to ipads and iphone, so far I have always made adjustment to spirit running software on the imac desktop. I am considering purchasing a very inexpensive hp stream 7 tablet if it will run spirit software so i can make changes at the field. The tablet runs windows 8.1 and has 1gb ram with 32gb storage. It has a micro usb port so i know i would need adapter to usb. Do you think this device will work for spirit? I believe the version of windows 8.1 is called 8.1 bing.
Thanks, Ed

Hello,
if there is x86 processor and you can connect the USB interface there, then it should work.
Altough the cheapest method can be to use Smartphone with Android and bluetooth.
If you will wait for a while, you can use Spirit Settings with iOS.

Ok thanks, The processor is intel Atom. I am pretty sure it's x86 based but I will do more research to be sure before buying. If this works I would prefer it because It would also allow field programming of my airplane systems( igyro and aura8).
Thanks, Ed

Hi,
I can't say it exactly, but I hope that very soon. It is nearly finished.
New bluetooth module will be necessary, because Apple devices require special modules.
