Updating firmware procedure
Is there a step guide or something similar to doing this? I just got a red spirit and havent installed the software yet but already know ill need to update the firmware to the newest version but ive never done this before on any unit and dont want to brick it in the process.

you can check the manual of the unit.
You have to only download firmware file, select it in the Update tab and press the Flash button.
Make sure that you have installed correct drivers (from the installer). If there are drivers from the operating system, then it could cause troubles.
The unit can be always unbricked in any case. If you have already installed version 1.3. or newer, then it can't be bricked at all.
