I think it doesn't matter if the unit isn't mounted in the axe of the rotorshaft, as long as it is aligned in all axes, right? I mean, mounting it horizontally on the right side of tje gyroplatform near the frame and not in the axe oft rotorshaft.

Yes, it will work correctly in both cases.
It has to be only mounted perpendicular to each axis.
