Any improvements to the nitro gov around the corner?

I have not been able to achieve acceptable gov performance with an OS105, Align sensor and RJX throttle servo. The main problem is that the throttle overshoots, undershoots and hunts around the target rpm, especially when switching headspeeds and particularly when changing from a high headspeed to a lower one.

I am about to get an external governor but wanted to first check whether there are any improvements coming up soon that might make the Spirit gov usable with the setup that I have. Happy to persevere with the Spirit gov if there will be a new fw to try in the next week or two.

Thanks!

Yes, we are working on the improvements in many areas including governor.
But I can't tell you if it will be ready in two weeks.

Exactally the same things I also had problems with and in the end I just had to give up with it.
Would like to see further improvements at some point to sort all of this out so I could maybe give it another try.

I will fit an Align RCE-G600 gov for now.

I am currently using a Spirit Pro with dual sats and a DX9. Can I use an unused output such as CH0 for the external gov's AUX connection? Happy to unassign the gyro channel and use bank switching for rescue if necessary.

Or will a receiver connection method be required for this?
