Hi all,
I am running a Spirit Pro together with a Jeti DC-16 v4.0.

As telemetry i can log & display a Spirit parameter called "vibes". It is displayed in %. Only when in the air it starts to show readings, when on the ground it reads zero.

In the Spirit software's vibe analyzer i can see the vibration levels seperately for the x,y,z axis.
I get a vibe level of about 40 when testing on the bench with TB attached.

In flight, i have a telemetry vibe value of 3%

What does this telemetry "vibes" value tell me? What is the difference to the one in the analyzer?

Cheers Martin

Hi,

vibration analysis in the software is working differently - it measure each sensor separately.
Vibe telemetry data are showing general vibrations on the model during whole flight. So it should tell you total vibration "amount" on the model similarly as you can see in the right bar on the software, but for all axes.

Yes, usually it is OK.

If you want to be absolutely certain, you can perform vibration analysis with the PC software.
