How do I activate banks in the software,Im following the steps for dx9 set up,when in demo mode banks are active,so how do I make it work?

First from all you have to assign a channel for the Banks (General/Channels in the software).
Then you have to assign some switch on your transmitter (tri-state is the best) to assigned channel in the software.

You can verify if it will work in the Diagnostic tab - you should see that Bank ID is changing under the bar.

Thanks for your reply,,I have channel 5 for gyro so it clashes,,should I change gyro to another channel?,,,if so which?,,,sorry to bug you with dumbass questions,and thanks again for your help.

Leave Gyro Gain in channel 5 and use another one for banks.
When you go to General/Channels select an unused one, say, channel 6.
Then program your TX switch accordingly.
On the Diagnostic screen you will be able to check the behaviour of the switch.

Remember that to program settings in different banks in the software, you have to switch banks with the "Active bank" list in the bottom right of the screen, since the TX switch will have no effect while connected to the software.

Thanks for the help,when I try that it says I cant as I have PWM connection,,My throttle channel is unassigned and I cant seem to activate it to assign a channel?

Yes, with PWM you cannot assign the throttle channel because this you would do to use the Spirit governor, and with PWM you can't.

But we were talking about something different, weren't we? I assume you would only have to assign CH7 to Banks and setup your TX accordingly.

How did it go?

Tried channel 7 but it tells me I can only use 5 channels,,

I am not familiar with PWM so maybe better to wait for Tomáš to chime in.

Anyway, you can still use CH5 for Banks and have the Gyro gain values in the Software.

Im trying to follow the set up guide for pwm but im new to my dx9,and the screens are different which is causing me some confusion,is there a guide anywhere for pwm dx9 set up? Im so close to "getting it"
Also I thought I better add that I just want rescue,no stabilisation,,can I set up without using bank switching?
no governor.
