Fail Safe

Hi Serviceteam ,
as I read that fail safe could be set in spirit system when RX (GR24) is connected via SUMD to spirit.
I did as recommended but it didn't function. In detail - motor stop and setting pitch to -2°.
Important - I used spirit app at Android.
I simulated fail safe by switching off TX (MZ18).
Did I anything wrong ?

Hi,
maybe the failsafe mode was not really activated.
Can you verify if there is Receiver signal lost event in the log when you turn off your transmitter, please?
If no, then there is a problem.

This mean, that the receiver is sending data all the time without noticing of frame loss. So the unit can't check, that signal was lost.
In this case you have to either disable Failsafe in your receiver or to program it directly in your receiver/transmitter.

As far as I understand, you don't have to change anything in Spirit.
What is currently happening is that the Receiver does not have its own failsafe set, AND apparently it does not tell the Spirit that he does not have connection and that Spirit needs to go in failsafe.
Once you will configure failsafe in your Receiver, it will start "telling" the Spirit that it does not have connection, so the Spirit will execute its failsafe.
