Spirit System

Hi,

got my first Spirit Pro this week and wanted to try it on the bench before installing it into my TDR 1....

I connected the unit with my Mac and it worked....then I tried to make sure that my Firmware is up to date and tried to flash it. Nothing happend for minutes so I stopped the operation. Since then I can't get it to life again....

Can anybody tell how to revive the Spirit ?

Hi,

the issue happened, because installed driver for the USB interface is not correct.
First from all, it is necessary to install correct driver - it is linked in the manual.

Then use this procedure:

1. connect USB interface to the SYS port
2. start the software, select No when prompted for Demo mode.
3. go to the Update tab, select the firmware you wanted to flash previously.
4. Press the Flash button (and OK)
5. connect a battery to the unit - at the moment, you should see a progress. The firmware should be flashed in a few seconds and the unit fully operating again.

But without correct driver, flashing will not work properly.
