Gov rate change question

Hey! This is my 1st post in here!

I have installed and tuned my Oxy 3 Qube to this FBL unit. (I have the good ol' red one.)

I went to enable the electric governor and it functions ok.

My 1st RPM set is 2600. When it hits the 2600 RPMs, the unit drives the ESC a bit past the 2600 RPMs, then brings the RPMs back down to 2600. It is very sluggish as far as gov response.
When I click into the next idle up, the head speed rate change is WAY too fast! Its like instantly switching from 2600 - 3000 RPMs. The tail kicks out like 6-10 inches when I change the head speed the rate change is so fast. At 3000 RPMs, the heli performs great! Its the HS rate change I dont know how to adjust.

All help is appreciated! :)

Thanks!

Hello,

welcome in the forum!
I recommend to decrease the Holding performance value by 2 points. This can help you with both problems.
How did you configured the Throttle frequency and what ESC do you use?
Increasing the frequency (if possible) can help as well.

To improve the governor response, increase the Governor Response value by 1-3. Then I believe it will work much better.

Hey!

Ok, I'll give it a try. (Decreasing Holding performance by 2 points.)
I am using a Castle edge lite 50 w/ 10 amp external bec.
This is an Oxy 3 Qube heli.
I left the frequency at the default 60Hz as I could not find anything about frequency (I googled this.)

Thanks! :)

I use 200Hz on my CC Edge 200A and CC Edge 160A HV.
