Hi Serviceteam,
what will happen if Spirit's Failsafe Algorithmus has been already started. Will rescue function still useable / function ?
And is it possible to come back to regular processing if Failsafe has been started / executed ? If yes - how.
thanks in advance
br Siggi

Hi,
when failsafe is engaged, channels values are set to these that were saved for this mode.
When signal from the transmitter is regained back, it will work again correctly and model is fully controlable (if signal is good). This is completely automatic.
Then if it is lost, the failsafe will be engaged again.
This will be also reported in the log from "the previous flight".
So failsafe can be activated/deactivated as many times as needed.

Hi serviceteam that's fine

;
I read documentation about Failsafe in spirit fbl if SUMD connection is used failsafe could be set. Is it a must have or an option. I understand it as option.
I would like to set failsafe only at RX - expecting that every failsafe option a configured at RX a send as normal request to spirit FBL.
why ? Because there is only one place ro configure . Therfore is it possible to deactive failsafe settings in spirit fbl?
thanks in advance and br Siggi

Failsafe from the unit will be active only when receiver will stop sending any data. If it has own failsafe defined, it will be used. If no, failsafe from the unit will be used.
For example if connection between receiver and unit will fail, only unit can act thus failsafe is activated there.

Hi Serviceteam,
okay - but I would like to deactivate FBL FailSafe Setting - no action there.
Is that possible ?

No, because there is no reason to deactivate it. It is safety feature.
If failsafe from the receiver will not react and failsafe from the unit too, then your helicopter can fly away uncontrollable.
Receiver failsafe has always bigger priority (if it is present) so there is no downside when second failsafe is in the unit too.
Both are completely independent and can't be activated at the same time.

Hi Serviceteam,
your are right that make sense as long both configurations are organized in a proper way. Proper way - clear rules what will happen.
thanks and br
